Healthy cells rely on oxygen to function. If your body is deprived of food you will die of starvation in 2 to 6 months, if deprived of water death occurs between 2 to 6 days, if deprived of oxygen death is almost immediate. The body’s demand for oxygen is greater than any other substance. Diseases other than malnutrition or dehydration are virtually all caused by oxygen deprivation.

Ozone is the reactive O3 form of oxygen (O2), which has been widely used in water purification, sewage treatment, toxic waste treatment and medicine. A high dose of ozone inactivates viruses, bacteria, moulds, and fungus as well as oxidizes toxic materials. Low doses of ozone increase immune system functioning and can even stop cancer cell replication.

Oxygen deprivation encourages the growth of primitive anaerobic (lives without oxygen) microorganisms, which can cause any type of infectious disease. According to two-time Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg, the primary cause of cancer is the replacement of oxygen with the fermentation of sugar. Oxygen is the source of energy for plants and animals while the fermentation of sugar is the process by which the most primitive cells get energy. Cancer cells and anaerobic microorganisms are very primitive cells.

Oxygen deprivation can occur due to lack of exercise, stress, poor diet and polluted air. In fact over the past few decades the concentration of oxygen in the air we breathe has decreased from 38% down to 19%. Carbon monoxide has increased 20% over the same time period. This time span strongly correlates with rises in cancer rates throughout the world. By restoring oxygen to the cell in the form of ozone in concentrations of .3 to .5 PPM (parts per million) cancer cell growth was selectively inhibited 40-60% while not inhibiting the growth of normal healthy cells. Exposure to ozone at .8 PPM inhibited cancer cell growth >90% but normal cell growth was reduced 50%. This potent and selective ability to neutralize cancer cells is only one mechanism in ozone’s effectiveness against disease.

Ozone also activates the immune system by increasing levels of cytokines such as: interleukin, interferon and tumour necrosis factors. Ozone is non-toxic when administered in the correct concentrations. According to the 1994 Journal of International Medicine Research, the ability of ozone to elicit endogenous production of cytokines and its lack of toxicity makes ozone an indispensable therapeutic modality, since today’s most devastating diseases are characterized by immunodepression as is the case in chronic viral diseases, cancer and AIDS.

Ozone, when administered in higher concentrations, acts through oxidative destruction of microorganisms and toxic materials. It is this precise property that makes it effective for sewage treatment, drinking water treatment, toxic waste treatment, and direct treatments of infective wounds. Ozone has proven itself effective in treating gangrenous conditions. Ozone also has proven itself effective in destroying herpes, Epstein-Barr, cytomegalovirus, and viruses causing hepatitis. In the October 1992 edition of the American Journal Of Hematology it was reported that ozone treatment was 97 to 100% effective in destroying HIV in vitro.

Ozone in low concentrations increases oxygenation through the entire body by stimulating the haemoglobin molecule in the red blood cell to more easily release its oxygen. Ozone also increases the effectiveness of the immune system (as stated above), and decreases perifocal edema, which is responsible for most of the damage sustained during strokes, heart attacks, and burns.


In Diabetics suffering from a neuroinfected diabetic foot, 94% reported good results with ozone while 67% reported good results with antibiotics. When antibiotics fail the normal course of progression with this disease is usually that of amputation of some of the extremities.

Heart and circulatory diseases also benefit from ozone. The National Institute of Angiology and Vascular Surgery in Havana, Cuba reported that of patients suffering from atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) treated with ozone by autohaemotherapy 73.4% experienced marked improvement. Cholesterol levels have been shown to decrease up to 19.8% after 15 sessions of autohaemotherapy.

Stroke patients who were treated with 15 sessions of rectally administered ozone all improved. 100% of patients who were in the acute phase of the effects of the stroke found improvement mentally and physically. 95% of those in the ancient phase of the disease improved, as did 80% of the chronic phase patients.

In sixty patients with senile dementia, ozone proved to be 85% successful in improving medical status, mental functioning, and better quality of life.

Gynaecological Infections: Sixty women with infections of either candida, trichomonas or gardinerella were divided into two groups. One received conventional care with a 20% cure rate in 15 days while the other group received ozone for 5 days with 100% success.

Arthrosis (diseases of the Joints): 230 patients with various joint pains were treated with ozone injected intramuscularly 20 times. 89% reported complete disappearance of pain, 10% reported some relief and 1% reported no change.

Osteoarthritis: Sixty patients were given one intra-articular injection per week for ten weeks. 93.3% were pain free after two months.

AIDS: Although there have been impressive reports of successes of ozone in research circles, there have been no comprehensive studies that use ozone as the only therapeutic modality. Most patients are so ill that they would be hard pressed to accept only one therapy. I personally have witnessed impressive results with ozone in conjunction with other therapies in the successful treatment of AIDS patients.

Cancer: Like AIDS, cancer is so complex that one modality alone is rarely used therefore there are no scientific research papers that show its effectiveness in treating cancer in humans. Although there have been several scientific papers reporting success in animal studies. I have seen some patients benefit from ozone and others who are in extremely late stage not benefit. What I can report is the sooner ozone is administered, the greater the likelihood of success.


Ozone is administered in a number of different ways:


100 to 150 ml of blood is removed; ozone is diffused through the blood, which is then reintroduced back into the body. This is the most common type of ozone administration. It is used in virtually all cases, especially: viral conditions, cardiovascular conditions, diabetic neuropathy and vascular insufficiency, cancer, AIDS, gangrene, and various neurological disorders.


Ozone is introduced rectally into the body and absorbed through the intestines. This is the safest and easiest route of administration. It is often used with small children, the elderly, and those who have small veins or veins that collapse quite easily. This route is most applicable for ulcerative colitis, colitis, Crohn’s disease, colon cancer and other intestinal diseases.


Ozone is introduced vaginally and absorbed readily. This is commonly used to treat disorders of the female reproductive organs including endometriosis, herpes, vaginal warts, abnormal PAP, uterine and ovarian cancer, leucorrhea and vaginitis.


A plastic bag is placed over the area to be treated and ozone pumped into the bag. This type of administration is used to treat: leg ulcers, gangrene, fungal infections, slow healing wounds and burns.


As Ozone degrades very quickly, ozonated water must be kept at a near freezing temperature to maintain its therapeutic effectiveness. This can be used for treatment of dental conditions, stomatitis, burns, carcinoma of the stomach or oesophagus, and in enemas for colitis and other intestinal conditions.


Most are administered intramuscularly or directly into tumours, abscesses, arthritic joints, herpes, and in disc conditions.

Ozone has the wondrous properties of being antiviral, antifungal, antiyeast, antibacterial, it oxidizes chemicals, increases the release of oxygen into the tissues, stimulates the immune system and when administered properly is non-toxic. When you compare its properties to that of most pharmaceutic preparations it is easy to see who the clear winner is. The only problem ozone has in being fully accepted is that like all naturally occurring products it cannot be patented. Imagine how the manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and manufacturers of radiation equipment would feel about ozone getting equal press coverage.
